Lake Breeze Wines

Lake Breeze Wines has a rich history. Founded in the 1850s by William Hill, Lake Breeze was just a homestead later known as Fairholme.

It was by the late 1880s that the first vineyards were established on the property.

Since then, Lake Breeze Wines has continued to expand with greater emphasis on growing wine-grape. In 1987, Lake Breeze produced its first wine, which led to the cellar door opening in 1991.

The Lake Breeze cellar door has been developed to become a contemporary function space.
It provides stunning views across the vineyard from one of the best vantage points in the district. It is an ideal place to sit and enjoy a long lunch or the perfect venue to celebrate your special occasion like your wedding.

The rustic-meets-trendy cellar door, Verandah, and barrel shed perfectly complement our stunning surroundings and create the perfect backdrop for any occasion.
Then there are the expansive lawns,  ancient gum trees and the sweeping views of vineyards surrounding you.

THE BARREL ROOM

Hidden among the vineyards and gum trees is the barrel room function centre.

The barrel room is relatively new since it was completed in October 2020. This event centre offers terrific views across a sea of vineyards. It sprawls out to the outdoor terrace under the gum trees and boasts oak barrel details and impressive stonework.

The barrel room is perfect for whatever wedding you want; indoor, outdoor, cocktail or formal.

The Barrel Room has a front made entirely of glass, the oak barrel features (such as a barrel wall), and an outdoor and indoor bar. The barrel room can sit up to 300 guests and has inbuilt data projectors & connections + 120′ screens, lapel + roving microphones

This cutting-edge rustic area has bi-fold doors that open to the terrace, a facade made entirely of glass, and a sea of grapes beyond.

This lovely area is the ideal setting for a memorable gathering of friends to celebrate your special day.

THE BARREL SHED

Also located within Lake Breeze Wines is The Barrel Shed. Because of its dreamy rustic vibe and floor-to-ceiling wine barrels, The Barrel Shed is exclusive and only available for two weekends of the year.

The Barrel Shed can sit up to 200 guests and can be decorated with silk fabric and chandelier lighting for an elegant, classy look, or left as a blank canvas to create the event of your dreams!

This is the perfect atmosphere to eat, drink, and have a good time with your close ones on one of the important days of your life.

THE CELLAR DOOR & TERRACE

You should use The Cellar Door & Terrace if you want an outdoor wedding. This modern cellar door space offers stunning views across the vineyard and the majestic river red gums that line the Bremer River.

The rustic touches bring texture and warmth to the space while maintaining a calm vibe.

This is the ideal location to host your wedding because there is a tonne of natural light. The setting comfortably accommodates 150 guests for pre-dinner drinks and canapés or a cocktail-style reception, providing the ideal environment for socialising and dancing the night away under the stars.

THE VERANDAH

Suppose you want an outdoor wedding but constantly worry about the weather. In that case, the Barrel Shed Verandah is perfect for you.

The Verandah provides an indoor-outdoor option and can seat up to 200 guests.

The Verandah boasts the best of both worlds with a barrel shed design and an open-air atmosphere leading into the lovely meadows lined with barrels! You can decorate the space with gorgeous white drapery or leave it open and sprawl out onto the grounds!

YOUR RECEPTION

If you’d prefer, you can host your reception in the manicured lawned area.

Our trimmed lawned areas are great for dining under the stars with your guests. They are also perfect for raising a marquee or teepee with a backdrop of roses and vines.

You can decide to have a private outdoor reception under the stars or, if you prefer, unleash your creative side with a marquee or tepee.

You can host up to 200 guests on the lush, manicured lawns. You and your guests can dine and have a fantastic time beneath the towering gum trees overlooking a sea of vineyards.

YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY

You may decide to have your wedding ceremony in the large, manicured grassed area with a backdrop of soaring gum trees and a sea of vineyards.

The setting for the outdoor ceremony is wonderful. There are two wine barrels to line the aisle, a barrel or signing table, and a stunning handmade arbour—yours to decorate any you like.
