Quince Brook is the perfect venue for a country wedding with country views, solitude, and a relaxed atmosphere with endless possibilities.
When we think of country weddings, we often think about the dust, cobwebs, and good parts. However, this quaint farm provides the good parts without dust and cobwebs.
As one of the Fleurieu Peninsula‘s newest wedding venues, Quince Brook is bound to impress you.
Quince Brook is located 6 kilometres outside of Strathalbyn on 100 magnificent acres dotted with large old gum trees and offering scenic country scenery.
Quince Brook is home to owners Sarah and Ty and their two children. Sarah and Ty first constructed the venue for their wedding. But now, their goal is to share this tranquil haven of serenity with others.
Your wedding ceremony can hold under the gorgeous big feature gum tree, and your reception at The Barn. Quince Brook will undoubtedly provide you with some curious furry faces. You’ll probably notice the curious Poll Hereford Cattle – they’ll be sticky, breaking over the fence to watch your day.
The purpose-built American-style barn is Quince Brooky’s centrepiece. The barn is wonderfully outfitted with polished concrete flooring, exposed beams, skylights, and timber cladding. It already includes lighting features and rigging for ceiling florals.
An expansive lawn and manicured gardens surround the barn, as does a timber viewing balcony and verandah that is already lighted with fairy lights.
The barn can accommodate up to 130 guests for sit-down meals or 150 for cocktail dining. Guests can sip their drinks on the deck or the neighbouring lawns shaded by the ancient gum.
After your ceremony, your guests can head to The verandah and deck. The deck adjacent to the barn is an excellent spot for guests to toast your nuptials and enjoy canapes before the formalities of the reception begin. The deck has views of the enormous old gum and the property’s undulating hills and paddocks.
With its gently undulating hills and fallen gums littering the land and historic ruins down by the stream, the entire site provides a magnificent setting for photography.
You have complete control over your providers as a dry hire venue, from beverages and catering to furniture rental and styling. Of course, the Quince Brook staff is always delighted to give supplier recommendations. Furthermore, they make it simple for you by including bartenders and glassware in their wedding packages. Hence, all you have to do is source the beverages!
Regarding catering, you’re spoiled for choice because Quince Brook is a wonderfully handy site for food trucks with plenty of parking and a kitchen facility available for a team of caterers to use.
Quince Brook is only minutes from Strathalbyn, where there are lots of lodging options. Therefore, you can use one of the exquisite villas that have recently been finished on the neighbouring property for your visitors and you.
