St Francis Winery

The St Francis Winery is a remnant of the southern wine region that was centered in the Old Noarlunga region. Now surrounded by residential sprawl, the old winery building still stands as a resort and wedding venue. Generally wedding ceremonies take place on the large grassy area, nearby the large duck pond with large weeping willow trees framing the whole scene.

Don’t expect to take photos of yourselves amongst any vineyards at this winery, but the rustic old buildings remain – with the main reception areas full of rustic, old-world charm perfect for a moderate-sized wedding function with a rustic theme. The more modern resort buildings surround a second ceremony location, complete with grassy hills enclosed within a delightful courtyard.
