Adelaide Zoo

Adelaide Zoo is one of the city’s most recognizable attractions and is home to over 3,000 animals and 250 types of exotic and native mammals. Birds, reptiles, and fish are spread across the eight hectares of magnificent botanic surroundings.
Adelaide Zoo, located next to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, is open every day of the year from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is only a 15-minute walk from the city.

For the daring brides, how about exchanging vows in the ‘Immersion Longhouse’ under the watchful gaze of a tiger? The Immersion Lawns can host up to 80 people and is perfect for adventurous couples who want a garden wedding ceremony.

Or perhaps you’d like Wang Wang and Funi (the only Giant Pandas in the Southern Hemisphere) to be witnesses at your Bamboo Forest wedding? If you’d like this, then the Bamboo Forest is perfect for you and can hold up to 150 people.

The Central Lawns is one of the most popular venues and can host up to 900 people. The Rotunda can host up to 200 people, and the Jewels of Asia Lawns can host up to 50.

The Adelaide Zoo’s feathered and furry friends would love to join you in celebrating your special day. There are even a few lovely-looking buildings you can use and, of course, the animals. You can also pay extra for a personal photo tour with a Zoo ranger!
