The Mt Lofty House has been a feature of the Adelaide HIlls, towering over the picturesque Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens since the 1850s, it’s now become a popular wedding venue. The house itself is a marvel of traditional architecture, complete with intimate gardens surrounding the grounds, even hosting a small vineyard – perfect for a variety of different wedding photos.
Generally Wedding ceremonies take place on one of the many grassed areas spotted overlooking the Botanic Gardens and far off hills, while the house itself has several different reception venues to choose from – depending on budget, size and space.
There are also several different types of accommodation available, being able to house an entire wedding party if required, while there are more intimate private cottages available to hire for the bridal party.
