Oliver’s White Hill Estate was founded in the 1840s by Elizabeth and William Oliver. From the 1840s till now, the buildings have continued to be lovingly restored.

Located only 40 minutes from Adelaide, White Hill Estate is one of the unforgettable places to host a wedding. White Hill has a long romantic history as wedding ceremonies have been held at White Hill since 1877. Recently wedding ceremonies have been conducted on the rolling lawns, by their spring-fed dam, underneath the 180-year-old gum trees.

Oliver’s White Hill Estate can offer an authentic heritage experience for your wedding ceremony combined with luxurious and modern conveniences. Suppose you do decide to host your wedding in the gorgeous gardens and loads of lawns. In that case, you will have the pleasure of sharing the extensive gardens and heritage buildings for your wedding ceremony.

No matter where your ceremony holds, you can be sure that you will have a stunning backdrop to your big day.

Your wedding party – I’m talking bridesmaids and groomsmen can reside at The House for the wedding weekend. The House is run by Jodie and her husband, Ben. They have managed the property and kept its integrity and history perfectly intact.

The House is made up of the ground floor, which includes a large kitchen, common room, and a long hallway that adjoins a paddock filled with alpacas and sheep.
Downstairs are more spacious bedrooms, all decked with everything you need for your weekend at White Hill.

You can make your wedding weekend last even longer by staying on the property and leaving for your honeymoon the next day after a relaxing family BBQ.
Exclusive use of the accommodation for your wedding party will give you access to a fully equipped country kitchen, a large dining table, homely living area with a wood fire. You will also have access to the Heritage Library, an undercover outdoor entertaining area with a gas BBQ and space heater. It will also give you access to necessary facilities, including bathrooms with enamel baths, toiletries and hair drier, quality towels, laundry facilities, electric blankets and an all cotton bed linen.

For your reception, you can make use of The Chaff Shed. Hosting your reception in The Chaff Shed is an experience everyone should have.
The Shed is a rustic structure that used to be part of the original stables. Now, it is a blank space, making it easy to customise the hall to suit your style.
The Chaff Shed can easily seat up to 80 guests and hosts larger groups for cocktail-style events.
The Chaff Shed opens onto the gardened terrace overlooking the homestead gardens and dam, which could be the perfect pre-reception area or retreat space.

Your guests can spill out onto the sweeping lawn and garden areas depending on what activities you’ve planned for them. For more fun at your reception, you can have lawn games, picnic baskets, a polaroid photo booth, freely flowing pizza and drinks, and a delicious cake.

With a reputation for creating extraordinary events, White Hill Estate provides you with a dedicated event manager. Also, they connect you with a range of suppliers. The event manager helps you with the organisation of the venue.
