Founded in 1997, Sinclairs Gully Winery in the Adelaide Hills produces premium quality Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grapes from hand-tended vines.

Owned by Sue and sean Delaney, Sinclair’s Gully winery can be described as one of the most picturesque parts of Adelaide. In addition to the vineyard, Sue and Sean are passionate about restoring and protecting this patch of bushland and its associated biodiversity. They do this through ongoing weed eradication, revegetation and feral animal control programs.

Sinclair’s Gully is a tiny little winery hidden away and smothered by native Australian flora and fauna, as an Adelaide Hills forest wedding location, this may just be what you’re looking for!

As a family-owned vineyard and nature sanctuary, you’ll find yourself surrounded by wildlife with birds flying through the valley, frequent visits from kangaroos, possums and often a koala in the trees above. As soon as you reach the winery, you will feel a world away from your busy life – which is how you want your guests to feel at your wedding.

The winery offers several packages to accommodate your needs and budgets. But for whatever package you pick, their wedding team will be with you every step of the way to make sure everything goes just the way you planned it.

The Pure Love package will be your best pick if you want to host your wedding ceremony and reception here.

The Pure Love package gives you exclusive use of the venue. The venue has a forest setting, cellar door, preparation room, undercover patio, deck, and lawned area for your wedding ceremony and reception.

You have the venue for 6 hours for both the ceremony and reception. The venue can host up to 100 guests.

Also, with this package, you can get a trusted list of highly recommended wedding suppliers, including; florists, caterers, musciians, wedding planners, stylists, wedding celebrants and many more.

If you are considering eloping, you should go for the Intimate Forest Elopement package.
Can you imagine getting married in a lovely secluded forest surrounded by your close family and friends?! How romantic!
If you are interested in this package, you will have access to a venue that can host 15 people for 2 hours. If you need witnesses or a wedding celebrant, the Sinclair wedding team can arrange this for you.
You can pick your choice of a forest setting and have access to onsite toilets, power and water.
However, you won’t be getting access to the property outside the 2 hours.
So, if you want to decorate the venue beforehand, you’ll do well to choose the ‘Say I Do’ ceremony package.

If you are looking for a formal wedding ceremony in a beautiful secluded forest, you should go for the Wedding Ceremonies package.

For your wedding ceremony, you will have private use of the venue, forest setting, undercover patio, deck and lawned area.
You can hire the venue 30 mins before the ceremony, and the venue can seat up to 100 guests.
As this is only a ceremony package, if you want to share food and drinks with your guest, you can talk to Sinclair’s Gully wedding team to add an hour.

The ceremony locations are intimate and rustic in the secluded forest or in beautiful winery settings.
The setting is lovely and intimate, with the old brick cellar building alongside an attractive vine-covered dance floor and grassy area concealed with beautiful large gum trees. The vineyard features a lovely grassy knoll, perfect for silhouette shots.

When it comes to cuisine, the caterers do fantastic work. Sinclair’s Gully is a licensed venue with an in-house bar. The bar service includes glassware with the option to set up a bar tab or be billed based on consumption.

Although you can bring your caterer, you will not be disappointed if you decide to use their highly recommended caterer. Their mobile caterers do a fantastic job creating Spit Roasts, Paella, Grazing Tables, Cocktail Style, a Sit Down Meal and Boho Picnics.
