The Manor Basket Range, formerly Camelot Castle, is a historic estate built in 1935 and set in the Adelaide Hills.
This one-of-a-kind event site has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation to create a new rural estate. The Manor exudes a rustic yet sophisticated allure. This magnificent castle, made of Basket Range Stone, is well-known in South Australia for its uniqueness.

The Manor, built in 1928, is a spectacular structure in its own right. Add to that a multi-million dollar renovation utilising recycled timbers, a sophisticated colour palette, and a focus on emphasising the natural mysticism of the Adelaide Hills, and you have a beautiful castle, unlike anything South Australia has ever seen.

The Manor Basket Range offers Adelaide Hills’ most unique wedding venues. It has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces that cater to various bespoke events. The Manor Basket Range can cater to your needs, from sizeable formal wedding parties to outdoor cocktail receptions in the gardens and intimate private dining experiences in the parlour room.

You can host your wedding ceremony in a modest chapel surrounded by gorgeous grounds. At the same time, elegant dressing and leisure areas are provided for event organisers and the bridal party to relax and prepare.

Lovely stone-walled areas provide a range of alternatives for receptions of all sizes. The Pinchbeck Ballroom upstairs can sit up to 220 people seated or 250 for a cocktail-style event. This room was named after Albert Pinchbeck and has beautiful oak wooden floors, an open fireplace, exposed beams, stone feature walls, cathedral-style leadlight windows, a private bar, bathrooms & its outdoor courtyard.

The Parlour downstairs can seat 22 people for dinner. This beautiful private dining room is perfect for intimate events. The Parlour is an elegant event space with chandeliers, an open fire, leadlight windows, and ornate ceilings.

Another Reception area is the Warwick Terrace Room. With open fireplaces, arched french windows, and exposed timber beams, the Warwick Terrace Room can accommodate up to 120 seated guests or more for a cocktail-style event.
This adaptable room leads to a spacious terrace with a private outdoor bar overlooking the lovely grounds and chapel. Along with the fountain and rose garden, overhead festoon lights add to the enchanting feel.

Within the grounds, several lovely garden settings are also suited for smaller ceremonies and, of course, garden parties. A functional bell tower, French rattan-style garden chairs, a pond, and a waterfall provide a magnificent background for your wedding.

The Terrace and Terrace Room provide a lovely indoor and outdoor space. The open-air area’s white lattice ceiling, creeping vines, and dappled light create a beautiful space for an elegant cocktail style reception or even a ceremony. Pairing perfectly with the Terrace Room’s indoor space, a lounge, seating options, and a dancefloor will undoubtedly be the centre of attention throughout the evening.

The event organisers can arrange on-site hair, beauty, and spa services to ensure you have all you need. The Manor has everything you need, including a well-thought-out cuisine and a curated bar list brimming with locally sourced independent manufacturers and brewers. They also have packages that include all furniture, set up, linen, printed menus, and staff.

There are 12 townhouse-style lodging suites, each with a detached sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and balcony seating.

The Manor Basket Range is located less than 30 minutes from the CBD and is a fantastic site to appreciate the region’s finest hospitality for various events.
